Publix Super Markets opened a new store Nov. 17 at Livingston Marketplace in Lutz, Florida.
The 46,791-square-foot store has departments for grocery, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat and fresh produce, as well as a bakery, deli and pharmacy. The store features café seating and also has an adjacent Publix Liquors.
“We are excited to bring another Publix location to our customers in Lutz,” said Hannah Herring, media relations manager. “We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers and providing them with premier service and quality products.”
The deli features a full-service counter highlighting Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, as well as delicacies, cured sausages, soppressata and aged prosciutto. The deli also offers an international selection of olives, antipastos, hummus and more than 200 artisan cheeses from the U.S. and around the world.
The produce department carries organic and conventionally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, with locally grown produce and exotic choices from around the world. The floral department stocks seasonal bouquets. The scratch bakery department offers a variety of fresh-baked cakes, cookies and pies, as well as wedding cakes and desserts.
The meat department features custom cuts of meats, including Publix private label all-natural and organic GreenWise chicken. Customers seeking a home-cooked meal with minimal prep time can choose from ready-to-cook items prepared fresh daily.
The seafood department carries fresh seafood delivered throughout the week, including wild and farm-raised fish, as well as a wide variety of shellfish. The pharmacy will also include a wide selection of natural and conventional vitamins, minerals and supplements.
The company provides contactless pay options and services like grocery and pharmacy delivery, powered by Instacart.
