Port Washington, New York-based Associated Supermarket Group has added David Fernandez to the company’s management team to enhance its retail services with a focus on technology, operational efficiencies and innovation.
With the addition of Fernandez, ASG will provide a stronger value to the supermarkets it serves with an aim to increase store sales and profitability. Fernandez will develop and lead program executions to increase retail sales so that stores win in the modern retail marketplace.

Fernandez brings national and regional retail operations and category management in-depth knowledge as he spent 14-years with Walmart stores and eight years with Shoprite stores leading best-in-class operational efficiencies for both companies.
