Throughout August, with the purchase of every bottle of Talking Rain’s Sparkling Ice sold in select Albertsons, Vons and Pavilions stores in Southern California, the company will donate .10 cents to Olive Crest.
“Every child deserves safety and security. At Talking Rain, we believe in doing our part to enrich our communities and build a better future for our kids. In partnerships with national grocers, Olive Crest’s cause marketing campaigns have raised more than $2 million in support for child abuse prevention, allowing their programs to provide food, safe homes, counseling to kids dealing with trauma and foster and adoption care.
“We are grateful to our sponsors for making everything possible,” said Rhonda Tagge, national director, Olive Crest. “The support allows us to transform the lives of at-risk children and families through intervention and education, in the hopes to put an end to the cycle of abuse before it happens.”
Olive Crest’s approach has developed into a national program through its Child Abuse Stops Here Network, raising awareness and support for abused and neglected children across the U.S. “Partnerships are at the heart of our model, and we believe support is best given at the local level and by organizations in the same neighborhood as children in crisis,” Tagge said.
In October, Mission Foods and Olive Crest Child Abuse Stops Here Network will partner in a national sweepstakes for a DisneyWorld adventure. All proceeds support children and families in crisis through its partnering agencies.
