St. Louis, Missouri-based Schnucks has begun a “Hydrate Our Heroes” beverage drive across the Midwest.
The campaign will be held through July 27 in all Schnucks locations to support local firefighters, law enforcement and first responders.
Those wishing to donate should look for collection volunteers or a donation bin at the front area of each store. The most requested items that are being asked for are sports drinks, energy drinks, bottled water and sparkling waters.
On July 16, volunteers from local law enforcement and fire protection districts will visit 20 Schnucks stores to spread the word about the campaign and accept beverage donations from customers.
The 20 stores that will be visited by local law enforcement are:
- Illinois: Bethalto, Centralia, Market Place, Mahomet, Pekin, Roscoe and Sangamon.
- Missouri: Water Tower, Kehrs Mill, Cape Girardeau, Battle Crossing, Cottleville, Crestwood, Farmington, Shackelford, Westfall Plaza, Kirkwood, Maplewood and Warrenton.
- Wisconsin: Janesville.
