FMI and the North American Meat Insititue have announced that in light of the recent cancellation of the 2022 Annual Meat Conference, it will conduct a virtual presentation on March 8.
“Our community is prioritizing the health of its people and operations so that we will be able to continue to serve the shopper, but we are committed to sharing additional category insights with our audiences throughout the year,” said FMI President and CEO Leslie G. Sarasin.
The Shelby Report had previously reported that the Power of Meat virtual analysis would occur Feb. 7, but the event has been moved due to COVID-19 concerns. The Power of Meat will now occur on March 8 from 1-2:30 p.m. Eastern standard time.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a major factor in changing consumer shopping habits. The association will cover the impact of changing consumer meat attitudes and behaviors in the context of the ongoing challenges in the meat retail industry.
FMI and the North American Meat Insititue, in partnership with Sealed Air, will host a webinar on March 8, where attendees will learn more about the impact of changing consumer meat attitudes and behaviors in the context of the ongoing challenges in the meat retail industry.
Presented by Anne-Marie Roerink, principal at 210 Analytics, the webinar will be free for anyone who previously registered for the 2022 Annual Meat Conference and will be free for FMI and NAMI members. Non-members can register for $99.
Access to the full report will be available for purchase at the conclusion of the webinar.
