Pineberries are scheduled to arrive this week at all Central Market stores, just in time for the holidays. The only place to find these in Texas are at Central Market, where they are a store exclusive through 2022.
What is a pineberry? It looks like a pale strawberry but has a combination of strawberry and pineapple flavor. Its coloring is beautiful and delicate – a pale peachy pink with bright red seeds. The first shipment should arrive in stores this week and will be available through Valentine’s Day or while supplies last.

- The flavor profile is juicy, slightly tart to sweet with a light strawberry flavor on the nose, finishing with notes of pineapple; and
