The Giant Co.’s new, ground-up 72,500-square-foot store opened for business on Dec. 10 at 4377 Swamp Road in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. It replaces the store located at 4357 West Swamp Road, which closed to customers on Dec. 9.
The new Doylestown store operates from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week and employs approximately 225 full- and part-time team members.
Doylestown customers will find Giant’s signature fresh departments, including farm fresh garden produce, fresh meat and seafood, full-service deli and bakery in a larger space with an expanded product assortment. The new store features both an in-store Starbucks and superfoods café Frutta Bowl, increased health and beauty care offerings, a new specialty cheese shop, smoked meats and a Beer & Wine Eatery.
The Doylestown store also offers Giant Direct. Designed to serve customers when and how they want to shop, Giant Direct gives families the opportunity to order their groceries online for pick-up or delivery at giantdirect.com.
As part of The Giant Co.’s commitment to making a difference in the local communities it serves, the Doylestown store celebrated its opening by making donations to The Doylestown Fire Department and New Britain Baptist Food Larder.
