Miracle Life Farm, a Homestead, Florida based producer of tropical fruits and vegetables has launched its “United We Stand” food donation program for the residents of Miami Dade and Broward counties.

The program was launched to assist individuals and families who have been adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Residents of Miami Dade and Broward counties are invited to visit Miracle Life Farm at 18280 SW 228th St, Miami, Florida every Friday between 1 and 5 p.m. to receive a package of freshly harvested tropical fruits and vegetables. The program is operated on an honor system and residents are asked to only make use of the program if they truly need to.

In addition, the “United We Stand” food assistance program will arrange contactless delivery of freshly harvested produce to senior citizens and other residents who are not physically able to visit the farm. Residents with neighbors who have the need but are unable to visit the farm are encouraged to pick up a package for their neighbors.

“American farmers are the foundation of this great country and its economy. It is our responsibility to help our fellow Americans in these difficult times,” said Apsara Patel, community relations manager for Miracle Life Farm. “We want to provide an example of how our communities can work together to overcome anything that happens to us. United we are strong.”
