As part of their continued investment in e-commerce, Raley’s now offers home delivery service through Instacart. The West Sacramento, California-based Raley’s has been offering pickup and delivery through its own online platform, eCart, since 2017, but this new partnership will allow the family-owned grocer to bring its offerings to even more customers.
“The demand from customers for delivery service has continued to steadily grow, and this partnership with Instacart will expand our services to reach more customers,” says Deirdre Zimmermann, Raley’s chief customer experience officer. “We are excited to bring Raley’s great products and competitive prices to Instacart’s loyal customers.”
Instacart’s network of shoppers will pick, pack and deliver the items on a customer’s grocery list in as fast as an hour. Raley’s Something Extra members will still earn points on their Instacart purchases.
“We know busy people and families are always looking for time saving options when shopping for groceries and household essentials,” says Andrew Nodes, VP of retail for Instacart. “We’re proud to partner with Raley’s to broaden their e-commerce offerings and help customers get what they need, delivered where and when they need it.”
Instacart service will be available at 93 Raley’s, Bel Air and Nob Hill Foods locations throughout Northern California and Nevada, during store hours. To order, open the Instacart mobile app, select delivery city and store, add groceries into the Instacart grocery cart and choose a delivery window—in as fast as one hour or, for convenient scheduling, up to five days in advance.
There is a $10 order minimum on all orders. For orders of $35 or more, the delivery fee is just $3.99. With an Instacart Express membership, customers get unlimited, free delivery on all orders over $35. First time customers of Raley’s and Instacart can enter the code HIRALEYS20 at checkout for $20 off the first order of $35 or more.
