After 106 years in business, Utah-based Lehi Mills has launched its baking mixes for nationwide distribution, along with a new brand design.
“We are thrilled to announce the national launch of our products and new look,” said Steve Brailsford, president of Lehi Mills and KEB Enterprises. “Lehi Mills was founded over a century ago by the general manager’s grandfather and working alongside the founding family has been a one of a kind experience, one that truly sets us apart.”
Lehi Mills introduced new packaging and a new interactive e-commerce website along with two new baking mixes: a whole grain waffle with eight grams of natural plant-based protein per serving and a Belgian waffle mix.
Lehi Mills is a wheat milling company based in Lehi, Utah. Lehi Mills’ premium high-mountain flour has been a staple in Utah homes since 1906.
Lehi Mills works directly with local wheat farmers from within a 300-mile radius of the mill. This allows the mill to have traceability of the wheat, from its planting and growing conditions to its harvest and transportation to the mill. Once the wheat arrives at Lehi Mills, it is tested to ensure its high baking quality, then milled into flour and combined into the appropriate mixture.
“At Lehi Mills, we view flour as an ingredient, not as a commodity product which is often overlooked. Our high-mountain flour is the first ingredient in all of our mixes and is tested to ensure its superior baking quality,” said Brock Knight, COO at Lehi Mills. “As we look to the future, we are excited about the potential growth for Lehi Mills and that families nationwide will get to experience the high-mountain flour difference.”
The Utah historical landmark Lehi Mills was the filming location of the 1984 film Footloose.
In 1906, Lehi Mills began working with Utah farmers to produce flour. After more than a century, the company continues to maintain close relationships with its farmers, their land and the wheat they grow.
