
Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) has promoted four of its leaders. Kyle McCoy is EVP and CFO; Holly Shotts is VP and controller; and Cindy Murphy and Curtis Wiggins are VPs of information technology.
McCoy, who most recently was the Tyler, Texas-based grocer’s SVP and treasurer, joined BGC in 1998 as an accountant. He has served as manager and director of corporate taxation as well as VP and treasurer. He has a bachelor’s of business administration degree and master’s degree in professional accounting from the University of Texas at Austin (December 1997) and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1998. He is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and Association of Financial Professionals.

Shotts also began her BGC career as an accountant, joining the company in 1992. She served in various accounting roles and was named director of financial accounting in 2003. She earned her bachelor’s of business administration in accounting from Southern Arkansas University and also is a Certified Public Accountant.

Murphy is a 35-year partner who began her career as a cashier and worked her way up in various accounting and information technology roles. She was named director of corporate systems in 2011. She has been recognized by The Griffin Report’s “Women of Influence in the Food Industry.”
Wiggins, who has served as director of retail business systems management since 2008, joined the company in 1988. He previously was a programmer analyst and also worked in development of operating systems, databases, applications and networks. He received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from University of Texas at Tyler and also has served on the Food Marketing Institute’s Electronic Payments Committee.
