The Tennessee Grocers & Convenience Store Association (TGCSA) has hired Chassity Martin as its coordinator of member services and project management. Martin’s duties will include addressing member issues, coordinating the association’s social media presence and providing events support.
Previously, Martin worked for the Tennessee Infrastructure Alliance. She is a 2015 graduate of the University of North Alabama where she studied political science and legal studies. In addition, she serves a city commissioner for the city of Collinwood.
TGCSA’s retail membership consists of 165 retail members representing more than 700 grocery store locations and 600 convenience store locations. TGCSA membership also includes more than 40 wholesalers and distributors along with 200 suppliers and manufacturers.
