Fiesta Mart is preparing for the June 26 grand opening of a 49,000-square-foot store – its first new location since 2015 – in Lewisville, Texas, which is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Located at 724 W. Main St., the store offers a full-service assortment of value-priced products to diverse communities representing more than 100 countries of origin, including Mexico, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, South America and elsewhere.

Shoppers will find an extensive selection of fresh produce, quality meat and seafood departments, as well as an in-house bakery, tortilleria and restaurant featuring Latin-inspired meals.

The Lewisville store also marks the first grand opening in a multi-year remodel plan that will update all Fiesta Mart locations across Texas by the end of 2025.

“Fiesta Mart is known for its unsurpassed commitment to freshness and variety, selection of international products and excellent customer service,” said Richard Gonzales, senior regional director.

“We’ve strategically positioned this new store in one of the Metroplex’s most exciting communities that continues to see record growth and expansion, and we’re excited to offer our one-of-a-kind shopping experience to Lewisville and the surrounding area.”

The grand opening celebration, set for 8 a.m. June 26, will include food samples, giveaways, live mariachi and a meet-and-greet with the brand’s mascot, Pepe the Parrot. Giveaways include $250 gift cards for the first 10 families, $50 gift cards and free branded tote bags for the first 100 customers.

The party continues throughout the weekend, with additional store-front events at 11 a.m. June 29-30.

To mark the occasion, two local nonprofits will each receive a $3,000 donation: The Concilio, an outreach organization that helps Latino families access education, health and wellness and economic opportunities; and Serve Lewisville, which includes multiple nonprofits in one location, including adult healthcare, mental health, rental and utility assistance, childcare and food resources.
